“I had the most beautiful birth experience! I loved working with Teryl! She was so supportive and is just such an amazing midwife! I had a moment between pushes where I told her I was mentally holding back. She coached me and helped me push past that mental block and I was able to deliver my baby swiftly & safely.
I loved feeling like I was in charge of my birth and my body. She was there to help but it was the most amazing experience to be able to move and birth where and how I pleased. I had a beautiful water birth and had a healthy, baby girl!
Shortly after, I delivered the placenta and Teryl held it and showed me the amazing things about it! We practiced delayed cord clamping and kept the cord and placenta next to me and the baby as we laid in bed for a couple hours before weighing & measuring the baby. I loved that time soaking in my new baby.
I could truly feel the love Teryl had for me and my baby! She said the sweetest things, has the sweetest soul and handled everything with so much love and care!
